To me, technology is synonymous with the facilitation of human life, providing convenience, and ushering in an era of revolutionary progress.

The presence of technology dates back to the stone and ice ages. Skeptical? Let me enlighten you. The stone age, commencing around 2.6 million years ago, predates the ice age by 2 million years. In this ancient era, humans ingeniously devised tools to simplify daily living. The journey began with the creation of stone tools and evolved as humans discovered ways to sharpen stones for hunting and cutting.

The discovery of fire marked a pivotal moment, initially ignited by simple tools such as two stones or a stick. Fast forward to the present, where we now have matches, lighters, and various fire-starting implements, showcasing the continuous evolution of technology over the millennia.

As time progressed, knowledge and discoveries were passed down through generations, leading to incremental improvements. Diverse civilizations, including the Chinese, Egyptians, Romans, Norwegians, and others, dedicated themselves to studying and developing numerous technologies for constructing monumental structures. Whether attributed to advanced extraterrestrial assistance or time-traveling individuals from the future, technology, in my perspective, has always been about enhancing the lives of Earth's inhabitants.

Reflecting on the past, luminaries such as Sir Isaac Newton, Leonardo da Vinci, and Galileo Galilei made groundbreaking contributions. Fast forward to the modern era, where visionaries like Steve Jobs, Elon Musk, and Jennifer Doudna continue the legacy of innovation, reinforcing my belief that technology is fundamentally geared towards benefiting humanity.

Now, artificial intelligence (AI) stands at the forefront, taking over the realms of invention, building, development, and creation for the future. With AI, advancements in quantum physics, nanobot technology, supercomputing, space exploration, limitless energy sources, human lifespan extension, and environmental conservation become attainable. The key now lies in establishing ethical guidelines and limitations for AI, ensuring that it serves the greater good.

I see myself as a steward of the past, a present-day advocate, and a builder of a promising future for Earth's inhabitants.
