Global Indigenous Aid (GIA)

Global Indigenous Aid (GIA) is a groundbreaking global donation website with a mission to gather funds to aid and rebuild indigenous communities while providing them with the essential support they need. Recent incidents, such as the devastating events in Hawaii on the island of Maui, have left many indigenous peoples without homes, leading them to camp by the beach or live in their cars. In response to such crises, GIA is committed to generating donation funds to help these communities regain their footing and rebuild their lives.

Waix Technologies Sdn Bhd has entered into a partnership with the Nation of Hawaii (NOH) to spearhead digital development for the Hawaiian Native Government. In alignment with this collaboration, the proposal for GIA has received the full support of NOH, who have entrusted WAIX with the responsibility of developing the website and providing comprehensive technical support and maintenance.

GIA will be a subscription-based website open to all donors who wish to contribute to indigenous causes. The subscription rates will be determined based on the global native news landscape, reflecting the fact that there are approximately 70 countries with an indigenous population of around 320 million individuals. As a result, the website will continuously update visitors with the latest news concerning indigenous communities and the support they receive.

Global Indigenous Aid (GIA) embodies the spirit of global cooperation, compassion, and empowerment, aiming to provide indigenous communities with a brighter future. By fostering a global community of support, GIA aspires to make a meaningful and lasting impact on the lives of indigenous peoples across the world.
